Sparkling Sangria

Ingredients:

1 bottle Champagne
1 chilled 12-ounce can Ginger Ale
1 mango, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
1 12-ounce can mango nectar
1 bottle dry white Wine
2 small star fruit sliced thin crosswise
2 limes, sliced thin

Directions:

Reserve some of the lime and carambola slices for garnish. In a large pitcher stir together the white wine, the mango nectar, the mango, and the remaining lime and carambola slices. It is best to prepare the wine and fruit mixture one day in advance. This will provide a natural sweetness. Keep chilled. Just before serving, stir in the ginger ale,(if the recipe is prepared one day in advance you can cut down on the ginger ale) the champagne, and ice cubes and serve the sangrķa garnished with the reserved lime and carambola slices.
