Champagne Brunch Punch

Ingredients:

2 cups sliced fresh strawberries
1 cup papaya juice
2 oz Grand Marnier
2 tbs superfine sugar
1 bottle good quality Brut sparkling Wine
8 strawberry halves for garnish

Directions:

Puree strawberries in a food processor and strain through a mesh sieve into a pitcher. Be sure to press out all of the juice. Add the papaya juice, Grand Marnier, and sugar, and stir to dissolve the sugar. Refrigerate until well chilled. Add the sparkling wine to the pitcher and stir. Pour into tall Champagne flutes and garnish each glass with a strawberry half. Serve.
