Papaya Margarita

Frozen Margarita

Ingredients:

2 papayas, peeled and chopped
1 cup Tequila
3/4 cup Grand Marinier
1/2 cup fresh lime
plus 1 tbs lime juice for rims
Crushed ice
Salt for the rim of the glass

Directions:

Puree the papaya in a food processor or blender until smooth. Store puree in a small container and refrigerate or freeze until cold. When mixture is cold add half of the puree, half of the tequila, half of the lime juice and fill blender to top with crushed ice. Blend the mixture slushy. Put mixture into a bowl or pitcher. Repeat the above steps with the remaining ingredients. Wet the rims of margarita with left over lime juice, dip rims in salt. Serve and enjoy.
