Ingredients:

2 ounces Gin
1 teaspoon Grenadine
1 egg white (optional)
1/2 ounce heavy cream

Directions:

Shake the ingredients with ice and strain into glass rimmed with grenadine and sugar. For a contemporary variation add pomegranate molasses rather than grenadine!
