What is Gin?

Gin is liquor made from distilled white grain spirit flavored with juniper berries, and a mixture of other herbs and sometimes fruits, or sloe berries if it is 'sloe gin.'

Gin is a wonderfully aromatic drink. It is wonderful on the rocks, in a traditional gin martini with olives or a twist of, lemon, lime, grapefruit, or even a slice of cucumber. Another complementary flavor is mint, especially refreshing in the summer.
